  • My daughter arranged for a Saturday morning cookery class for my birthday. Ela is lovely, patient and professional and she knows her Gujurati food! She worked with us to choose our recipes. I don’t generally like daal, but what we made was fabulous! Cabbage and peas was so tasty! Ela is a gifted teacher. I went home and immediately made more chapatis using the recipe which came out fine. Strongly recommend to learn with a friend and become more confident with Indian vegetarian dishes. Thanks ...

  • Ela came to my house for a lesson - I had bought it for my parents' Christmas present and joined in too! - and my parents loved it. She is an excellent teacher and we ended up with 3 delicious dishes we are all planning on making on our own. Even my can't-cook-husband thinks he'll have a go! I'd thoroughly recommend her.

  • My partner and I attended a cooking session at Ela's home after being gifted it as a Birthday present. We learnt how to cook several authentic dishes that we had often tried to make at home. The recipes we learnt were amazing and we now cook as regular family meals. Especially the meat samosa! Ela is very friendly and very informative explaining everything step by step. It was a really great experience for both of us and would highly recommend it!

  • What a wonderful evening learning new cooking skills from the lovely Ela. Such good fun and an enjoyable way to learn, cook and of course eat! Can’t wait for the next course. Would thoroughly recommend - thank you so much Ela!

  • Ela was such a wonderful teacher which such wonderful knowledge about different types of Indian dishes. We all thoroughly enjoyed this class and the food we produced was incredible. We have all managed to recreate the dishes alone at home and I think that’s down to the good teaching. We cannot wait to get another class booked in to learn some new dishes
