I’m Kate Holt, the founder of Colour Me KT. I started painting and upholstering furniture over 20 years ago when I was redoing my daughter’s bedroom and couldn't find furniture that I liked. My husband Tony and I have owned a flooring business for over 25 years - so interiors have always been our thing. Tony is a natural upcycler (some may call it hoarding) as he can't bear to see anything go to waste. He has often rescued furniture from skips, front gardens and even a bonfire - long before “upcycling” became trendy.
