Great place to view the jets landing and taking off.

Lovely links course and friendly staff and members. As a non-member who wanted to visit and play I was most welcomed. The course is split over the railway with some fantastic greenskeepers (picture attached) It can be a difficult course and I played in high winds which definitely made for an interesting game. I hope to visit in the Summer as I suspect it is an even better course.

A fantastic course, the first 4 holes are on one side of the train tracks and the remaining holes are on the other side. The 18th then plays on the first side of the train tracks. The course plays along the side of the RAF airbase. A lot of the course has sheep on it. They don’t get in the way though and move when you play near them. Would definitely recommend playing here if you’re in the area. The club house was very welcoming and offered a nice cold pint after the round.

Not friendly or welcoming... Came for round of golf on holiday with my son and father in law, checked with club before hand as not a member, yet on the first tee as my son was having difficulty and my father in law was giving him some pointers, the manager came over to question our dress, if my father in law, was a professional coaching my son and if my son had even played before. Made to feel completely unwelcome, my son was very upset by the comments to the extent we wrote to complain. Got ...

Nice little course, greens in good condition. What makes this place interesting is the line with passing trains which disects the course, and the runway with training jets and helicopters taking off. Not the longest of courses but if you stray off the fairway trouble all around with gorse lining the rough.
