A visit today for our lunch with two neighbours. Good choices available, I had a turkey roast with mushroom soup for starters. Treacle sponge and custard for pudding. Lovely friendly staff, all prices very reasonable

This is a really nice course, but quite confusing if you're playing it for the first time. I spent quite a while just trying to figure out where the next tee was. The greens are fairways were in a pretty decent condition, with accommodating fairways that generally allowed you to take a driver. There are a couple of raised tees that allowed wonderful views over the course. I'd certainly come back if I were in the neighbourhood.
