Clare Reddaway has been creating unique and inspiring story events with her company A Word In Your Ear since 2012. ā A Word In Your Ear is a not-for-profit company founded to celebrate and champion new writing. The company aims to explore new and original ways of making stories available and accessible to the public, through performance, digital media and print. ā Based in Bath, A Word In Your Ear works with local writers and organisations to create high-quality, compelling story events. This includes Story Fridays, a regular, popular live lit event in Bath, and Story Saturdays, at Clifton Library, in Bristol. ā A Word In Your Ear has created a number of site specific story events such as Story Friday Goes Swimming, a promenade around a derelict Georgian lido, Foraged Fictions, set in and inspired by the landscape of Prior Park and the Bath Story Walk, a walk through the back streets and green spaces of Bath with fictions inspired by the stones beneath the walkers' feet. ā
