What an amazing experience!! I've been thinking about a career in aviation for a long time and the experience day was my first step as a gift from the family. Received a trial flight lesson for my birthday, and I can't recommend Clacton Aero Club enough! Despite being cancelled twice due to weather (which is par for the course with flying it seems!), I finally managed to get up in the air with Simon, who was an great teacher and great fun too!

Finally I could come to this beautiful Aerodrome. Just 8min walking distance to the beach. Nice staff and cheap landing fee (15£). Hope to come back soon.

I have been using Clacton Aero Club for a number of years now and have done more hours flying than I care to remember. I don't think I'll ever get my PPL as I'm now 76! I have always found everyone most helpful and friendly and the instructors are top class. CAC has a very good reputation amongst trainees as I've hear of people coming from as far as Norfolk and Kent to carry out their training. Long may they continue!
