Churston Golf Club

Friendly place. Now with a newly refurbished function room/bar. Can be hired out for functions and weddings. With fantastic views from the balcony. Good quality food available during the day. Fantastic function food and buffet menu.

Wonderful golf course, well worth a look if you're in the area, with a long par 3 to start, and fabulous views over Lyme Bay with Torquay and Paignton resplendent. There is a really good variety of holes too, with green that look true, but a real test to read. The Clubhouse is well appointed with excellent changing facilities/showers. The bar area is light and airy too. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed with Churston having played Thurlestone and Torquay the two days prior, £55 green fees for what ended up with us taking 5 hours to finish having been stuck behind a club comp that were the slowest members I have ever seen, the final 5 holes we were stuck on tees with people waiting in front and behind with two groups behind walking off in disgust. If you're out for a golf break holiday in the area, do yourself a favour and avoid Churston

Course was nice, not particularly long and holes run very close to each other but plenty of variety. Website mentioned driving range but there isn't one, clubhouse didn't open until 11 so no breakfast☹️ Worth a visit if your in the area.

Very enjoyable couple of days playing at Churston GC. Course was in great condition - and quite a test in breezy conditions. Glenn and the team at the pro shop were first class, and the catering team looked after us well. Well worth a visit.
