Chris has been teaching my daughter for just a term and I am delighted with the improvement in her playing and confidence. Chris' enthusiasm and energy are contagious and my daughter really looks forward to her weekly lessons. Chris has an organised and methodical approach to teaching and his talent is incredibly inspiring. Chris arranges opportunities for his students to perform locally which is fantastic and has an excellent knowledge of the requirements of the different examining boards....

Chris is an excellent piano tutor and he is amazing with both our sons (who have very different personalities!) He is very organised but flexible when it comes to his students' needs, he is strict but creates a relaxed atmosphere, and he handles every situation with a great sense of humour and understanding. As a parent, I couldn't be happier.

Chris is a wonderful, kind teacher and I was so impressed with how much my daughter improved and was able to start reading music in such a short time.

Chris is an excellent teacher, with a particularly interesting approach to scales... he is really thorough in preparing for the exam syllabus and contextualises the pieces so that one fully understands how best to approach them. He is very flexible about changing dates and times as needed, and encourages informal recitals for his students, as a good motivator to get pieces up to speed!

Highly recommended, Chris is an amazing teacher and pianist. The lessons are always fun, we always have a nice chat and a good laugh. Everything is explained in great detail. Also very flexible when it comes to changing the day or the hour of the lesson. The house is easy to find and it's all just very chilled! :)
