Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club

Fantastic sailing club. Good facilities, friendly people, nice restaurant and bar. The lake gives you a good area to sail.

This is a truly fantastic community led membership club, promoting the sport of sailing on the beautiful Chew Valley Lake. Great learning and organised training. Friendly atmosphere and community spirit, entirely volunteer managed and operated. Popular with both cruising sailors and keen racers. Well established disabled sailing group.

Had a very nice sail with my Grandson Barney. Hired a club boat that gave me a opportunity to give some basic sailing skills too Barney. Great club with excellent facilities.

It is a big club with loads of great facilities and room. I was there for an event, it was well ru but launching the boat was fun as slip ways were very slippy with algae and could do with a pressure wash. Because it is so large it is also missing the friendliness that a smaller club has.

Beautiful area. ....nice views. .. love Btistol and the UK.
