It's a nice friendly club. I've been a member for 20 years. The club has 3 indoor and 7 outdoor courts, has its own coaching staff and teaches many young people. It has a number of teams in local leagues.

The coaches and staff at Chesterfield Lawn Tennis Club are all wonderful. Very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful, with a really great attitude towards children's coaching. The club gave a superb introduction to tennis with the Tennis For Kids initiative through Tennis England, and it also provided really fantastic Holiday Tennis Camps, which give a great structure to activities, and helped to foster a keen interest in tennis for the younger ones and older children too. Friendly and family oriented with 7 out door courts and 3 indoor courts. 3 of outdoor courts are astro surface. Majority of outdoor courts have lights for night tennis. There is well stocked bar, speciality coffee machine large seating area with sofas and tub chairs so great for lounging - seating with large window looking on to the indoor courts, seating inside the indoor court Hall - usually for parents watching kids tennis.
