Brilliant course, Brilliant clubhouse with friendly staff

Arrived to play in the Seniors BB Open today to be greeted by pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff, a wonderful clubhouse and a great golf course with some of the best greens I’ve ever played on. Such a delightful day and my thanks go out to the organisers and everyone involved. Really puts my Club to shame. Will certainly be returning, thank you all!!

Lovely setting, beautiful grounds, friendly staff and good food very well priced. Really good traditionally home cooked food, proper chips 😊

Good course. Greens in great condition. Plenty of room for the wayward driver. Lovely clubhouse. Food 3/5 vfm friendly bar staff. Some funny stroke indexes, short par 3 no trouble is stroke 3 ????.

Our visiting party started the day with a warm welcome from the Club Captain - other clubs please note - and a generously sized bacon buttie! Then it was out on the course. And what a course! Extremely attractive views as we circled the impressive & ancient Lumley Castle. The views were eclipsed by the fabulously maintained course layout. Plenty of challenges for players of all levels, assisted by recent tree thinning & thoughtful design changes. After our round, it was back to the very well ...
