Very popular with dog walkers, and a cafe on the weekend during football matches

Too frightened to go here now after a third encounter with a dog walker with far too many dogs with no recall. Left with a crying shaking dog after being approached, chased and snapped at by one or two from a group (who also walked across the whole football field despite dogs not being allowed on there). We were hoping that the two previous encounters (one with 9 dogs!!! And one with I think 6) were just bad luck but I think unfortunately I will be avoiding this beautiful place now 🥺💔

Sports area could do with a little more parking places

Feeling depressed take a walk their, Fresh air. Mindfull of nature... change of scenery 🌬🌞

This is a great place to visit if you are a lover of football. Lots of pitches for adults and kids and it always seems to be busy. The only downside is the parking. There just never seems to be enough of it. With the amount of players/referees/parents turning up it can be a real struggle, and there is not really anywhere else to go unless you fancy taking your chances and leaving it outside on the main road.
