Just been one night, amazing place, quite, very nice town, 800 years old hotel, nice people.

Lovely location and house. Great service. A little remote but that made it a peaceful stay

Beautiful house, many beautiful aspects especially the mediaeval Solar room. The garden is very well kept. If you are staying as a retreat guest the meals are excellent, the chef has received training to cater for vegan/vegetarians and does an excellent job. The accomodation rooms have good beds,are kept clean and have ensuite facilities. However there are no frills

Peaceful place however most rooms seem to be in outbuildings and floors and walls are thin. I was also next to the laundry and washing machines going all day hardly added to the calm. If booking best to find out where your room might be.
