Charles Tebbs

Charles teaches two of my children. I feel he has done a great job with both of them, adapting well to their different needs. He manages to get the best out of them. I appreciate the effort he goes to to organize recitals/showcases for his pupils, and also that he invites us to concerts that he is involved in. I highly recommend Charles as a piano teacher, for learners of any age and ability.

Charles is an excellent teacher, and superb pianist. He clearly wants the best for his pupils. He is a thorough and knowledgeable teacher and has a comfortable and relaxed manner during lessons. He even organises concerts and events which give his pupils the opportunity to perform in front of an audience, which is fantastic. As an adult learner I think he does a great job.

Charles is very passionate and enthusiastic during my lessons and I love trying to soak up his expansive knowledge of the music world. I have only been having lessons with Charles for around a year and a half but feel that he has really taken the time to get to know me and I have gained a lot from his experience and patience as well as his detailed approach to teaching.

I started learning piano with Charles in January 2016, I find his teaching manner excellent and I enjoy my lessons every week. As an adult beginner it can be a bit daunting but Charles uses just the right balance of detail, pointers and praise to ensure that you feel like you have improved each week. I would highly recommend him and hope that my two sons will take lessons with him in the coming years.

Charles has been teaching me to play the piano, as an adult complete beginner, over the last year. His patience, attention to detail and encouragement has been exemplary. It is nerve wracking, developing a totally new skill, in front of an expert, but Charles has always tried to put me at ease.
