Ceramic Fitch

We did this as a couple and absolutely loved it! Julie was very knowledgable and explained the basics before we got going on the wheels. Having the 1:1 support and attention meant we produced some decent pottery rather than us trying to stumble through and making a vague clay ‘something’! Very happy with what we produced and cannot wait to see the finished result after glazing etc.

A fun session in Julie’s cute studio on a farm. Julie was a great teacher, patient and thoughtful, giving us enough information for us to understand the basics of pottery without overwhelming us and showing us how to take control of the wheel in ways I found instinctive to pick up. The time passed really quickly because we were so immersed in the activity. We collected four items this weekend that we can actually use at home - I’m really pleased with them!

Julie was a fantastic teacher for the Pottery Throwing Class for 2. Lovely studio, intimate space and really hands on with the process, creative and incredible value for everything offered, including two coloured pieces per person to take home. Thoroughly recommend this really fun experience.

My friend and I attended on of Julie’s pottery throwing lessons today. We were not disappointed! Julie is an excellent teacher, who took us through each step and before we knew it we were making our own pottery pieces. Would highly recommend Julie at Ceramic Fitch. What a lovely creative and fun way to spend a morning! Went with a friend to Ceramic Fitch for a morning session learning how to use a potters wheel. Julie was just lovely, a great teacher and very patient. The time just few by and miraculously we both came out of the experience with three lovely pieces of ceramics. Would highly recommend.
