Catherine Fox Violin/Viola/Piano/Theory Teacher

Cathy is an excellent teacher, particularly for adults. I had played the violin as a child/teen and wanted to re-start after a long gap. Cathy was very patient and adapted the lessons to suit me and what I wanted to achieve. She made me feel very at ease and the lessons are fun and relaxed. I would recommend Cathy to anyone looking for violin lessons but especially adult beginners looking to try something new.

I was very thankful for Cathy that she takes adult students too. She is very patient, excellent teacher and a brilliant performer as well. I would highly recommend her.

A fantastic teacher, after 'learning' for a year or so with school music teachers Cathy taught me what I *should* have been learning to begin with. I feel so much more comfortable playing the violin now, and really enjoy her lessons. If you're an adult looking for lessons that aren't just for kids I'd really recommend Cathy. I never feel like I'm doing a piece to death either, which is so important. I really look forward to my weekly hour of violin :) Thanks Cathy xx

She's very enthusiastic and full of passion for the music. I can't tell how much it's essential to have a patient teacher and able to make you conformable during the learning process. She teaches Violin and Viola, I'm currently a Viola student.

Sent my two daughters to learn violin, they have done grade 3 exam. asked her to continue, went for classes for two months. Later i realize she wasn’t teaching grade 3 nor grade 4 pieces, asked to buy grade one books, when I asked her about progressing the girls to grade 4, no reply from her. Just wasted two months violin fees.
