Carholme Golf Club

Never been to a course where you have to dodge walkers,dogs,rabbits and course layout. Was told it was bad but didn't realise there would be so much broken glass, tee's in mudpits and rabbit holes. Only 1 hole I would say is a pleasure to play the rest are like walking up and down a disorganised field. £18 is a crazy price for the condition of the course. Will never play again.

Lovely place, friendly staff..

Course isn't in great condition although greens are fairly good. Not easy to navigate your way round the course from green to tee, as signage is poor in places and some holes don't naturally lead into each other. £25 for the round and it wasn't worth it although I did enjoy the round. Lots of courses available in much better condition at same or even cheaper price point. I'd go back for £15 but not £25.

Golf course was in great nick. Greens were running nice and true.

Stayed in Lincoln for 1 night on business and took my clubs due to the nice weather. Went to Carholme and met the friendliest group of members i have ever come across who invoted me to play. Great bunch of lads and even met 'The Big Apple' (Seamus! Cos hes always partying and never sleeps). Thoroughly enjoyed the course, which was tough as hell due to the tight fairways and will definitely return. Sean
