I've been a member of the CCC for over 5 years. It's a very welcoming club no matter what your experience level. You join in one of two ways. Experienced paddlers can do an induction sessions where they demonstrate that they are competent, and inexperienced people can take a beginners course where they learn to handle a basic whitewater kayak.
