Had such an enjoyable stay. Good tuition, amazing food, and lovely house.

An encounter of two halves A course leader who did not make me feel welcome, either by personal dislike or, more likely, as a result of a substantial misandristic blind spot, when comparing her interactions with the other participants, all female. A generous and talented cook/chef who spoilt us with delightful meals and sought any opportunity to use his talent for our benefit.

I've just spent an enjoyable 6 days here as a resident student. Can't praise Tessa enough for her patient, caring and thoughtful tuition to me as a beginner in drawing and painting. The studio is a magical space to spend time in. I feel I've learnt loads that I can apply now. Peter provides the logistical support and is the chef- I ate very well with really tasty beautifully presented food and 'naughty' deserts! It was both a lovely place to be on holiday and educational too... Tessa and Pete...
