Certified First Aid was founded in 1999, when founder Rhonda Tkachuk saw a demand for First Aid courses that were accommodating of participant schedules, learning styles and recognizing the importance of building confidence in participants who one day may face a true emergency. Our company's goal is to make courses enjoyable, hands-on and affordable. Our courses have been designed to train individuals to be confident in handling emergency situations from choking to CPR required situations to medical conditions, etc. All of our courses focus on interaction and hands-on skill development. Certified First Aid’s goal is to train more individuals in appropriate First Aid and CPR skills each year. Since 1999, over 200,000 people have been certified or recertified in First Aid and CPR by Certified First Aid. We are a Calgary-based company; however, we offer courses across Alberta.
