Good walk around the lake. Can be a bit muddy after rain.

Love this res. A great natural unspoilt walk. The Hounds in foulridge is also an excellent local for a drink or food. Yet to eat there but food looks amazing and a cracking friendly pub.

Good for open water swimming, Has a smaller training area if needed. For the stronger swimmers its open to the elements so rarely do you have a smooth water swim, great for training. Not the clearest of water but you can't have it all I guess.

Fancy a walk? Or a run? Then why not step on this lovely place with fantastic views, quiet atmosphere, n most of all, hearing the sweet sound of nature, i visited this today and me and my lovely dog enjoyed every bit of it

I joined this sailing club last year as a complete novice. I was made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended.
