Fantastic venue, nice tables, friendly staff. I've been a member here for over 20 years. Would highly recommend.

We had exactly the same experience as 'service with a growl'. A grumpy woman reluctantly let us in but told us it was for members only but was unwilling to let us join because I had my 14 year old son with me. He's been playing for 4 years and regularly beats me. We went to Spot on Leisure, joined their membership and played there. Have been back a few times already and will be regularly. How do people stay in business with appalling customer facing staff?

*Service with a growl!* Went here today at about 2pm. The door was locked and according to hand written note the buzzer didn't work. Knocked at the door a couple of times and a seemingly irate woman appeared and (through the glass in the door) asked me what I wanted? I said to play snooker (seems reasonable for a snooker club rite?!) and she asked if I was a member to which I said no. Then she said I couldn't play then as it's a 'members only club' - so I asked if I could become a member! Sh...

One match table which is good to play on, others average. Car park gets busy. Doesn't open until 11.
