Budleigh Salterton Riding School

Lovely riding school, with a great set of half-term activities for the kids. Instructors are all friendly and the ponies are calm. Plus there's a beautiful on-site cafe with wi-fi.

I go here every other week, sometimes more. I adore it here. The horses are gorgeous and well cared for. Lessons are cheap for what is provided (£30 for an hour, half hack in the gorgeous countryside and half lesson in which the instructor packs in as much as possible).

What a wonderful place. My daughter went to a Pony Party and it was incredible. Staff were lovely and friendly. Animals are well looked after and the experience was brilliant. The car park is a bonus. The cafe was absolutely lovely great value and warm and welcoming. I actually can't recommend this place enough 😍 Delicious cake, beautiful ponies and horses and a great memory making experience. I'd definitely do it again❣️

We were in the area on holiday and had the best afternoon on a family half lesson half hack. Easy booking, great instructors, beautiful horses and lovely surroundings.

I honestly cannot recommend these guys enough. From riding here as a child to the long gap of not riding, the instructors have got me back into riding and built my confidence up all over again. They answer any questions regardless if you feel its stupid or not and they explain everything over and over until it makes sense. Very friendly team and not forgetting the gorgeous horses, who you can see are so loved. Thank you to the amazing team and horses
