  • Our daughter began her guitar playing journey with Mike three years ago. He came highly recommended from a very reliable source - fellow parents at the school gate. Mike has consistently provided the approach to learning our daughter wanted, He is very much student led, teaching songs chosen by the student and always asking which direction they want to go in next, in terms of style and technique. Our daughter has been able to experiment broadly and develop appreciation of many different genr...

  • You won’t find a better guitar teacher than Mike. My son has had lessons for 4 years, moving to online classes since the pandemic which have been just as enjoyable. Mike is really patient and enthusiastic, always cheerful and positive. He has taught my son through 5 grades and using both electric and acoustic guitar. I highly recommend him as a teacher.

  • We have been using Mike for guitar lessons for a number of years now and are continually impressed with his levels of professionalism. His passion for music has been infectious and our two boys are coming on in leaps and bounds. Highly recommended. Matt D

  • Mike has been teaching my son guitar for several years now and we would be happy to recommend Mike to anyone either starting out or looking to improve their knowledge of guitar. Mike has always tailored his lessons to us making sure it was a fun experience. Nathan has achieved several of his guitar grades but also enjoys lessons where they just jam together and more recently Mike has worked with Nathan on writing his own songs.

  • My son has a weekly lesson with Mike, we moved to him a few months ago because my son had become disinterested in classical guitar lessons. Since he has been going to Mike, guitar has become his true passion. Mike's style of teaching music he (my son) wants to listen to, and learn to play, has meant he has developed in leaps and bounds. Within weeks of working with Mike, he learnt more than he did in 2 years of classical lessons.
