Bronze Sports & Social Club

Was going to join until I was told they were charging £10 a head entry to members, who pay membership fees, offering nothing extra for this on New Years Eve. With taxis at double fare that's just a rip off, taking advantage of the, mostly, elderly.

Staff are really lovely and helpful and provided an excellent buffet. Room was really cold which was the only drawback

Good size event room and good ale

We attended a wedding here, the food was beautiful, the function room was light and airy with plenty of clean comfortable seating. We were made welcome by the staff, the drinks prices were very reasonable too. There was plenty of parking too. Highly recommended this hidden gem of a club for future events.

I went with my partner on about six Saturdays before lockdown. We played bingo, enjoyed the acts but nobody spoke to us. Everyone stayed in their little groups, no attempts were made to welcome or include us. It was very unfriendly so we stopped going, it was not worth paying for taxis...
