British Shorinji Kempo Federation

The BSKF is a non-profit organisation providing teaching and guidance in the martial art of Shorinji Kempo. Shorinji Kempo combines effective self-defence techniques with a practical philosophy based on Buddhist principles. The training aims to develop the potential of the individual and create physically and mentally balanced people. Its intentions are to provide students with the confidence and ability to stand up for their ideals, allowing them not only to protect themselves, but also to help the community they live in and, ultimately, society as a whole.
