Really enjoying my lessons with Nikolai! Have seen great improvement with every lesson and he always has great energy and recommendations for practise outside of lessons also. Coming as a beginner I’ve always felt comfortable and encouraged. Couldn’t ask for a better tutor!

Nikolai is a great teacher and he’s funny and patient. I made a lot of progress since we started a couple of months ago physically/technically but also it sounds more expressive/musical. The lessons are tailored to whatever you want/need out of it and his exercises if you go with them are way more effective and fun than say practising scales. There is a dog and a wood burner stove.

I can highly recommend lessons with Nikolai. Each lesson is considered and structured to the learner. Even for someone with no musical experience, Nikolai is able to simplify the learning process and so accelerate progress. Each week home practice is detailed and personally tailored in excellent packs.

Nikolai is a brilliant teacher. I'm learning from scratch as an adult and he's very patient and has worked with me to find techniques that match how I learn. He's got a nice space to learn in and makes the most of the lessons. I'd recommend Nik to anyone!
