Ben is great! I saw him playing in a venue and, when he finished, I just went straight away to ask him if he was a teacher. I was so happy he said he teaches flamenco and other styles. He not only loves music, but also teaching. I've been learning with him for a couple of years, sometimes face to face, other times on zoom and I couldn't be more happy with our lessons. Ben is a fantastic guitar teacher and my playing has come on leaps and bounds since I started having lessons with him around 3 years ago. Ben is endlessly encouraging and positive, and he personalises the lessons to my skill level as well as my music preferences which keeps the lessons engaging. One of the most useful things he has taught me is not just how to play different pieces, but actually how to practice effectively. Highly recommended!

Ben is totally able to teach from beginner to advanced in various styles and very happy to work around your ideas of how you might like to learn. He's got a great sense of humour and perhaps best of all, he is so patient and encouraging that if you feel at all embarrassed it's definitely down to you not him! That's a quality that's rare and I really appreciated his gentle way.
