Just played a round of golf today at Braemar. First-time visitor to the golf course. The course itself is quite different from my normal Links courses but offers some challenges. Fairways wide, but greens are small, so beware. Course was in pretty good condition for the time of year. Unfortunately the local we met entered the conversation by ' Have you paid yet and was it the right amount as we don't have a lot of money ' Seriously!!!! Welcome to Braemar.

The friendliest club in Scotland with the best course. If you want a day to remember, come here. Great walks, great people, well worth a visit

This is a friendly golf course, welcoming to visitors and serving reasonably priced food. The course has 18 holes and is in a beautiful setting in the River Cluny valley, there are a few challenging holes and it's not too strenuous for the elderly golfer. Highly recommended for those visiting the area.

Amazing place, beautiful course with challenging front 9. Great staff and club members. It's the highest(altitude) course in the UK. Can't beat the scenery. Reasonable pricing as well.
