About BOLDtext Playwrights
We are a collective of eight professional writers from the West Midlands who came together in 2013 to create new work that celebrates and reflects our regtion. So far this has included partnerships with the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, WMP Heritage, Culture Central and Birmingham Museums Trust. We’re committed to using talent from our region to tell stories that enable audiences to see their world in a brand new way.
