Have never blanked at this lake, usually fish on home pool but took my daughter here and fished Bridge pool, was having runs all day also my daughter had a handful of small silvers.. Fish in very good condition.. I'll be back for sure

Perfect for the NEC and the warden couldn’t have been more helpful with a route map to beat the traffic. Canal trust could repair the potholes but apart from that ideal stop. All the routes we used stopped about half a mile before the site which is clearly marked off the road.

Great location & picturesque setting. Only downside was the standard of the toilets/shower. By no means the worst I've experienced, but 'could do better'.

I do like this place, however I’m finding it an increasingly difficult water to fish. I’m trying everything I can think of and spent an entire day with just 1 or 2 bites. No doubt, it’s partly my skill level but the same efforts elsewhere are proving much more fruitful. To be honest, 50% of the day is time for me to chill in the peace and quiet so I don’t really mind that much but for the keen anglers that are there to bring in some serious fish, you may struggle.
