Blundellsands Sailing Club

Excellent, friendly sailing club. I would recommend it to everyone. The clubhouse is great for social events and the boat yard is full of friendly helpful members.

Excellent local sailing club. I am not a member, but I have visited several times with friends who are. BSC do a great open day with a BBQ to raise money for the RNLI every year. Weather and tides permitting, usually at least on lifeboat or hovercraft comes to visit. Stunning views from their clubhouse when the weather is fine.

Not too crowded, weather was great, sunny and with very little wind. But be careful on the dunes, some people would not remove their dog's poop.

Very cold this morning, great to be in the open fresh air, nice spot to relax with a coffee ☕

The poor seamanship of these people aside, the dreadful behaviour of the people in the clubhouse left me wondering what it is about rude behaviour that people find so compulsive. One rather pretentious woman insisted on having a bench on the green to herself and her husband who wasn't even present. A club stuffed to the gunwales with snot.
