Blacknest Golf And Country Club

Went to use the driving range. 2 weeks now I have booked online and paid for my time, unfortunately the 9AM start time doesn't ever seem to be realistic due to the collection of range balls. They are collected by hand and nobody seems to care about the start time, just after 9:35 today. So if you book from 9 you will pay for 35 minutes that you cant have. The Toptracer is fantastic, but I think I will find it elsewhere next Sunday.

Two days ago, i received an email from Steph (your marketing lady) thanking me for holding a society at the club in the past and looking forward to welcoming me in 2023. This i would normally have ignored as just desperate marketing as i have never held a society at your club let alone played a round of golf there. Blacknest is an absolutely fabulous venue for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful and the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendliness of the staff can be instantly felt. We had our wedding at Blacknest in the tipi at the beginning of May. It was an amazing day and such a brilliant location. Vicky and her team have been so helpful throughout the whole planning experience. The staff on the day were equally as lovely and helpful. We were lucky enough with the weather too to be able to have our ceremony outside. The venue is an excellent blank canvas for any theme. I cannot recommend Blacknest enough. Thank you to everyone there who made our day so special

Played this course on and off over the past 20 years. Very impressed with the more recent developments to the course and club. Flat course with not too many hazards, but you’ve got to be really aware of the water that catches you out on a number of holes. In my experience the greens and course has always been very well kept and maintained to a high standard. Tried the footgolf, with family, but it was too short and not really challenging enough.
