If your looking for a fab surfing experience this is the perfect place! The beach the views and the clear water is amazing! Black house water sports gave us fantastic lessons with some great hire kit, and they couldn’t be nicer people too!☺️ If your on Tiree…you need to visit these guys!👌🏼

My three kids (14,12,9 - all near-beginners) had a fantastic session at beautiful Ballevulin Bay. Iona was a lovely teacher who quickly figured out their level and gave them a terrific experience. Lovely scene on the beach - this is a family business with a personal touch - simply lovely people with a nice, friendly manner and lots of experience of teaching all ages.

Impossible to know where to start with this most brilliant BRILLIANT place. We have been coming to Tiree on holiday for the past 5 years now, we now don't holiday anywhere else. A big reason why we keep returning to this wonderful island is Marti and Iona and the rest of the team at Blackhouse. They are so warm hearted, kind and cant do enough for you. Cheap to rent a board while on a hiking trip around the island. Marty was a nice guy and really wanted us to enjoy the evening. Really enjoyed the location and got some good surf. If you're on Tiree make sure that you visit!

Hired a board here one evening during a backpacking and wild camping visit to Tiree. The owner is friendly and very helpful and got us surfing in a good spot immediately. He also gave us advice for wild camping and generally made us feel very welcome. We were blessed with good weather and it made for an unforgettable evening.
