I had a terrible experience the 1.5 years I was at this club due to the condescending, two-faced attitude of the club captain, who had an obvious implicit bias against myself. Don't expect an unbiased response from the welfare officer who shows clear favouritism. I would strongly advise anyone of Chinese/ESEA heritage interested in rowing to pursue the sport elsewhere.

Amazing desi (asian) breakfast. Which was served promptly with fast and efficient staff. It was fairly busy and they cleaned up the table I chose to sit at promptly. Very impressed by it. As my previous experience there a few months before wasn't as clean. There was food all over the floor and the table was cleaned in a covid pandemic very haphazardly. This time the assistant did a much better job. The food and atmosphere was a definite treat. The toilets were clean and so was the whole place.

My LO had a good 15 minutes sailing session for free. He really enjoyed it as he was sailing solo! I appreciate these taster sessions during an event which was organised at Edgbaston Reservoir. Overall safe and good fun.
