I've been going to Birmingham Bouldering Centre on a weekly basis (Covid restrictions notwithstanding) for a good few years now and have always found it to have a really relaxed vibe with very attentive and knowledgable members of staff - all climbers themselves - in attendance. A little gem.
Small, rough and ready, no bullsh*t climbing gym. Great selection of climbs. If you want a challenge, this is the place. Learned a thing or two from staff member. Glad I checked it out.
Really well run climbing centre. Handy location for snow Hill station and the city centre. Staff are always friendly and helpful. There are a wide range of routes for beginners through to advanced levels. Various other exercise equipment for finger strength available upstairs too. The cake a delicious! Gets busy of an evening.
