  • I came here over 15 years ago when my husband started bowling. I was given some free coaching sessions and since then, I have won many awards. Over the years, I have met many wonderful people and participated in many events at the club. It is an activity that anyone can enjoy and at any age!

  • I would recommend this bowls club to anyone who is wanting to try out lawn bowls. Local friendly community and very welcoming. It also has a nice bar. The green is brilliant, and all the members are helpful and friendly. Lovely lawn bowls club!

  • Biggleswade Town Bowls Club is located on Glebe Road, Biggleswade, near the tennis courts. It has a nice clubhouse with a bar, kitchen and facilities. The green is well maintained and is very welcoming. When I joined I had never played bowls before. However, I was given some free coaching. The members are very friendly and I enjoy some of the social events held throughout the year - Race Night and Quiz Night. In the winter, the clubhouse is cleverly converted so Short Mat bowls can be played....

  • A real shame that this valuable local resource is under utilised and unavailable to local residents who work Monday to Friday... Tennis courts only available at weekends when the bowls green is in use! Local council quote health and safety risks yet tennis courts in Bedford are open access 24/7... Must do better, town is growing rapidly but amenities are not...

  • I came here for a roll up game, now I have got the bug and intend to join next season. I was made to feel instantly welcome and everyone is friendly and helpful. Come and try for yourself, great fun, good exercise and great atmosphere.
