Bee in the Woods

Our Forest Kindergarten for children aged between 3-6 years old is Brighton & Hove's first exclusively outdoors setting. Children at Bee in the Woods play, explore and learn in a woodland environment, without walls - whatever the weather. Our experienced staff facilitate development by listening and learning through our children's play. We also believe in the power of nature for bringing families and communities together. We work with families and organisations within our community to reduce loneliness and boost happiness and health through time together in nature. Why We Do It In an age where screen-time has replaced play time, we want to give local children the opportunity to learn through open-ended adventurous play outdoors. Forest School gives children the chance build on resilience and self esteem through magical and memorable experiences. We celebrate children's innate curiosity and creativity through joyful early learning experiences and help them grow into healthy, happy, confident, resilient little learners - for life!
