What a wonderful shop! There are a few yarn shops in London but Beautiful Knitters stands out with its fantastic customer service and choice of yarn. There is a great selection of yarns at different price points with loads of samples to help you choose. A lovely little yarn store with a plentiful and varied stock of yarn at a range of price points to suit a most budgets. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. I didn’t find the knitting needles I needed, as my preference is specific, but the range they had were of very good brands. There were multiple brands of sock yarn to choose from and I came away with four balls of Hjertegarn ALOE Sockwool @ £6 each.

First impressions as I walked into this store in a quiet yet central part of London: “wow”. Beautiful Knitters has been marked on my “to-visit yarn shop” list for quite some time, and my first visit did not disappoint! The selection of yarns and the way it was displayed were beautiful, and quite tempting to buy more yarn than I planned. When I entered into this shop, I felt like with friends, fellow knitters who love yarn. Both ladies (Valentina and Slovakian lady with whom I started chat) paid full attention to me and assisted to find affordable quality yarn. They showed me around different yarn, showed me patters, samples, I really enjoyed there. I bought beautiful Shetland yarn and also some Portugese yarn. I feel like I have new friends and a place to come back when in London.
