About Beat It Percussion
Beat It Percussion CIC aims to promote good mental health and support well-being through the medium of rhythm and sound. We became a Community Interest Company in 2013 and have built a track record for providing therapeutic drumming and sound relaxation for a diverse range of groups in the community. Our innovative work with people who are living with dementia and their carers is well-recognised. Now based in Sandwell and Birmingham, Beat It is establishing itself as a service provider across the region as well as in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Wales. The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to take a break from our community-based activities and redesign our interventions to be delivered remotely. This means we can continue to support people far and wide at this time when well-being and mental health are urgent priorities in our communities.
