Went there for a friend's birthday, didn't even realise it was a chess club. Staff were friendly and the beer was lovely.

Reopened again and has been spruced up good Choice of beer pool snooker live music Saturday night bingo sat & sun prices CIU club members plus guest well worth a visit

Very friendly and welcoming. My first night and I was straight into rated game. Would recommend to all chess players regardless of experience. Also has a bar to keep the arm oiled! 😊
