  • Decent enough par 3 course. Excellent for beginners and good enough for mid-high handicappers to test your iron play (6 - Wedges). Would have given it a higher rating but tee boxes leave a lot to be desired and certain greens had big divot marks out of them. ( NOT all i hasten to add).

  • Shout out to my old pal Stuart Mungall, the manager of this park, clearly doing a great job with regular upgrades to the walkways, regular trimming of the rough and the greens are kept in good condition. Plus they have owls, sometimes even hanging out in the reception area!

  • Greenkeepers and staff attempt to keep this little course in good condition and they do well considering its abused by inconsiderate golfers who rip divots out and vandalise the greens, bored teenagers who vandalise and steal flags and dog walkers who wonder straight across fairways and greens rather than sticking to the public paths.

  • Excellent place to take your dog. Lots of space for playing fetch. It's a popular dog walking area. Be aware that some days there's a football pitch which is sometimes in use. Also sometimes kids playing at the skateboard area and BMX area.

  • Great leisure centre with a good kids pool. The park is great too. Lots of stuff for the kids to play on. Never played on the golf course but it's good for running around the perimeter.
