A very interesting fishery with some quirky rules (no pellets, no bread, no boilies, no surface fishing) but fishing can be hectic. Fished the Match lake and had 7 very hard fighting carp all around the 3 -6 pound mark in just 4 hours. Lake is quite weedy and fish will smash you up if not careful. Lost 3 to the weeds. Weirdly bailiff said biggest carp (up to 20 pound) are in the silvers lake which is very weedy so goodness knows what tackle to use here.

The so called carp lake is full of small Rudd and eels. Small carp around 1.5 - 2 lb. it is not a carp lake but a match fishery.
