Art Intense Wokingham

Met a great bunch of lovelies on the course and, very relaxed and welcoming environment. I finally put brush to paper after 3 years out of touch and lacking in confidence. Briony gave me the confidence to do just that and feel free and flowing. thank you.

Looking for an art class to allow me to develop some confidence in drawing and painting, I feel very lucky to have happened upon Art Intense with Briony. She's a great teacher. She draws up a comprehensive curriculum for each season's course - covering the use of pencil and charcoal, acrylics and watercolour and introduces the work of various artists and their artistic styles. Beginners Charcoal Class. This was a great beginner class. It covered the basics well and gave practical experience in how to use the various forms of charcoal to achieve the best results. Briony was very supportive and struck a good balance between praising what was good and pointing out areas which could be improved. Wow! Our first term with Art Intense has been fabulous. Our tutor, Bri, has set us some challenging projects in both acrylic and watercolour but with her tuition, support and advice we have all risen to the challenge. The classes are kept small so we all get plenty of individual help and also we have all got to know each other well. Classes are fun and the time really flies by. I can’t wait for next term when we will have some drawing projects, followed by more acrylic and watercolour.

Bri is an excellent tutor and as a result I am already learning many different techniques. The class demonstrations are well planned and very informative and Bri is on hand to offer advice throughout the lessons. The class members are all very friendly and the subjects are interesting and I look forward to attending every week.
