Annandale Arms Hotel And Restaurant

Wonderful hotel, staff are always very welcoming, rooms are very comfortable and food and drink great.

The room I had was very poor and not fit to sleep in. Heavy mold in bathroom, stained bed headboard, heavily condensated single glazed windows, room was very cold due to hotel central heating not being switched on and the bed was very uncomfortable. The staff where very friendly and breakfast was good.

Wonderful Staff and excellent food. After a nasty experience in another local place the night before with the food quality and the owners reaction to a complaint this place redeemed Moffat for us. The manageress named Elaine and her staff were outstanding "What a contrast to the previous manageress in the other place" The food was of outstanding quality and very reasonably priced. I cannot recommend this place enough and would give it 6 stars if possible. Well done The Annandale Arms.!!!!

Very friendly staff serving good od food with a well stocked bar and comfortable beds. Excellent location to explore the borders of Scotland from and reasonably priced. There is a carpark with space for about 10 cars plus a disabled space. The decor is traditional, old but spotlessly clean, and there are lots of stairs and no lift but garden rooms are available....

We stay every other year on our way up to the Highlands. Some one in our party has been going for decades. Our last stay a few weeks back was flawless as usual. We request the lower courtyard rooms because of the dog and they are always comfortable and clean. The foods really nice and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend.
