Angle Entertainment - Axe Throwing, Escape Rooms, Gaming Lounge and Cafe

On a quiet Sunday morning driving past a local church I giggled to myself at the ungodly act that was shortly to follow..... axe throwing here we come screaming Valhalla inside I was truly ready for the next hour ahead We were a small group of 4 warmly welcomed on arrival in what felt a slightly surreal setting- 2 kids playing away with VR headsets, one chap tucking into a big breakfast, a couple of guys comparing gaming cards of some sort and a host of tables with people playing board games...

We were walk ins at what turned out to be a busy time. The receptionist/barman was welcoming and managed to fit us in with hardly any wait time. In the meantime we headed to the games space, where we browsed their selection of board games and played pool. There's also arcade games and VR. Axe throwing itself was a fun way to spend an hour. It's not overly strenuous, and our hosts were on hand to talk us through the main throws and set us some optional challenges and games to keep things exci...

I've been a number of times and haven't had a bad experience. Both the staff and community are great and the food is good. If you're there for an extended period of time, drinks can end up being expensive, however, you can take a bottle that they will fill with water for free. There is a huge amount of board games in the games library which are labelled for ease (solo, co-op, kids etc). Grab some friends and spend a day there!

Fantastic family fun, vr headsets available for the children to use, maximum time of 30 minutes before needing a break to let their eye's adjust to reality and let others have a go, a few out dated arcade machines available, pool table all costing £1 each, board games available to play at tables or comfortable sofa area, food available at the help desk, reasonably priced and not to bad👍

A really unique and large space dedicated to all kinds of gaming. Board games, card games, role playing, VR, escape rooms etc. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are incredibly fair! It was our first visit and we brought our own board games which we could play at their tables for free and then we just paid for drinks. Really welcoming atmosphere and will definitely be going again.
