Andy Harrison Music

Andy has been teaching at our school since September. His students love their lessons and look forward to them every week. They learn quickly, have a lot of fun and always enjoy the songs they are taught.

I had a series of bass lessons with Andy. As an absolute beginner he was very encouraging to me and he has no end of patience! Andy's lessons have given me an understanding of the basics and I would like more lessons from Andy when I'm in a position to have them.

Andy is a great teacher. He inspired my son to have a go at doing something he felt he would never be able to do. Andy personalised his lessons to not only suit my son's musical interests, but also to suit his special educational needs. I highly recommend Andy to any budding musicians out there!

Andy has been teaching my 2 kids (now 11 and 13) for a number of years. Over that time he has taught them both a mixture of guitar and piano. I had been playing guitar self taught for 15 years and was stuck in between everything I learned either being too easy to stretch me or too hard to learn. After a few lessons with Andy I managed to kick some bad habits, and learn some theory so I actually knew what I was playing and why I was playing it rather than copying what I saw others do.
