Andrew Walker Ceramics

I had a wonderful afternoon playing with clay ( a birthday treat.) Andrew is a very patient and supportive tutor with huge knowledge and a willingness to share it. He was very kind about my abomination of a pot and I may sign up for more classes! It is the process not the product for me:very therapeutic.

I had a pottery lesson with Andrew and the lesson and the environment were amazingly beautiful and well preformed. I am totally beginner to ceramics but Andrew was so patient to explain everything. I totally recommend it and it was a very good experience.

Lovely spacious studio, we took one of Andrew's 2 hours classes. Andrew made us feel very welcome, gave clear instructions and supported us individually when needed. A very enjoyable session where everyone made something they could be proud of. I would highly recommend Andrew and his classes to others.

I went on a half day class (Feb 2020 - sorry for the late review!) to make a ceramic bowl . Andrew is an excellent tutor and paces the lesson really well. His delivery is calm, patient and really informative. I found the process of making the bowl therapeutic. I'm not particularly creative in that sense but enjoyed making something from start to finish and would definitely recommend going on a workshop or course. Looking forward to the studio reopening and joining another class.

I own several beautiful ceramic pieces by Andrew and have also had several hand building lessons with him which were fantastic. His attention to detail and style is brilliant - highly recommend.
