Amy has proven to be very professional and has a wealth of knowledge. I love that she doesn't only teach us humans to train our dogs, but will explain the reasoning behind everything. Our young dog developed nervous issues after little socialisation and interaction for over a year of lockdown, the recent influx of humans and dogs everywhere caused her to react in a really difficult to handle way. Amy quickly understood us and our dog, she was empathetic, insightful and an expert in her insights into ours and Mia’s needs. So far we've only had one lesson with Amy to help our reactive Labrador. We've started with working on his recall, we've been working on the techniques given to us by Amy at home. Tonight it was put the test when max escaped the garden, he was half way down the lane heading towards the main road, as soon as he saw me and I called him he came back with no fuss! Thank you so much Amy!

Amy is a very experienced trainer who really understands how dogs think. She is very kind and patient with dogs and owners, and I have found it very helpful to have had her input into my dog's training from puppy stage. I am confident that my dog will now obey basic commands, can walk nicely on the lead, and will be reliable in his behaviour around other people and dogs. I have attended classes and 1-1 sessions and would very highly recommend Amy Millward Dog Training.
