Amport Trout Fishery

Small picturesque lake in lovely surroundings. So peacefull and quiet .Has the clearest water I've ever fly fished at. Well stocked with trout. Easy access from A303 M3 and A34 . Lovely owners would definitely go back .

Lovely small lake and fishery, one of the clearest waters I've ever seen, you can taste the purity in the fish too. I take my kids here as its ideal for those starting out or for the more experienced during the more challenging mid summer months.

I had such a great time here. The location is perfect and so quiet. The fishing was exactly as I had hoped it would be, well stocked and plenty of space to move around to different areas of the water. I would highly recommend a day out here.

Beautiful location, lovely and peaceful. Owners are both very friendly. Fishery itself is not huge but has possibly the clearest water I've seen in a trout fishery. The fish are all great condition and my average catch size was 3lb. Good facilities in the fishing hut with scales, a roll of fish bag for your catch as well as Trout Masters application forms and the fishery log book.
